Privacy Policy

Arena (arenavs.app) is operated by Electric Nerdz LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use Arena, why, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email support@arenavs.app.
What we collect
Account details. Your email address and a password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), or, if you sign in with Google, the name, email address and profile picture Google shares with us. We never receive your Google password.
Profile. The display name, username, photo, country, city and bio you choose to add.
About you (optional). During setup we ask why you're here, roughly how many push-ups you can do, what you want to train, and, optionally, which board you'd compete on (men's, women's or open) and your weight. We use these to personalise the app and, later, to place you in a class or division. Every one of them can be skipped, none is shown on your public profile, and you can change or clear them from your profile at any time.
Workout results. For each set: rep count, per-rep timestamps, form score, duration, format and date, plus your challenges, wins, losses, rating, tier, goals, groups (“Arenas”) and the people you follow.
Camera. Rep counting runs in your browser. The live camera feed is analysed on your device to track your body position and is not sent to us during solo sets. Two exceptions: (1) for head-to-head challenges and live rooms we save a short, low-resolution clip of your own set as proof of the result; it is stored privately and only you and your opponent can view it; (2) in a live room your video and, if you allow the microphone, your voice are streamed directly to your opponent's device. We do not record live-room audio.
Payments. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and a Stripe customer ID; we never see or store your full card number.
Notifications. If you turn on alerts, we store your browser's push-notification endpoint so we can tell you about challenges and results.
Landing-page demo. If you enter your email after the 10-second demo, we save that email with your demo result so we can connect it to your account.
Technical data. Basic logs our hosting providers keep (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) and cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies or sell ad targeting.
How we use it
To run Arena: create your account, count and score your sets, settle challenges, calculate ratings and leaderboards, show your progress and goals, send the alerts you asked for, process your subscription, prevent cheating and abuse, and keep the service secure and working. We use your email for account and billing messages and for challenge alerts when push isn't available.
What other people can see
Your display name, username, photo, country, rating, tier, win–loss record and best 30-second and 60-second results appear on leaderboards, fight cards and your profile to other Arena users. Share cards you choose to post can be seen by anyone with the link. Your proof clips are visible only to you and the opponent in that duel. Your goals and training history are private to you.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers that run Arena for us, under their own privacy and security terms: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Google (only if you choose Google sign-in), and the web-push service built into your browser. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Google user data
When you sign in with Google, we use only your name, email address and profile picture, and only to create and identify your Arena account and show your name and photo in the app. We don't use Google user data for advertising, don't sell it, and don't transfer it to anyone except as needed to provide the service described here. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. Proof clips are kept while the related duel is part of your record. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, results, clips and goals within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons (for example, Stripe payment records).
Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile any time in the app, turn off notifications in your browser, and cancel your subscription from the billing portal. To get a copy of your data or delete your account, email support@arenavs.app from the address on your account and we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your information; we honour those requests.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access to your records is restricted to your account by database rules, and results are checked server-side. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Children
Arena is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app or by email.
