Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Electric Nerdz LLC (“we”, “us”), which operates Arena at arenavs.app. By creating an account or using Arena, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Arena.

Who can use Arena

You must be at least 13 years old, and if you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have a parent or guardian's permission. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe. One person per account.

Your health comes first

Arena is a fitness game, not medical advice. Push-ups and timed max-effort sets are strenuous. Check with a doctor before starting if you have any health condition or concern, warm up, use proper form, and stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Set up your phone and space safely. You exercise at your own risk.

Counting, ratings and fair play

Reps, form scores, ratings and rankings are produced automatically from your camera and may sometimes be wrong. We may re-check, void or remove any set, challenge result or rating change, and may adjust leaderboards, to keep competition fair. Don't cheat: no partial reps presented as full reps, no manipulating the camera or the app, no fake or duplicate accounts, no tampering with requests or data, and no automated scripts. Cheating can lead to voided results, a rating reset or account suspension.

Subscriptions and billing

New accounts get a free 14-day trial. After the trial, continued access to recording sets and other paid features costs $8.99 per month (plus any applicable tax), billed through Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the billing portal in the app; you'll keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice, and the new price applies from your next billing period after that notice. Challenges friends send you can still be answered while your subscription is inactive.

Share & Earn

Members may share a personal referral link. When a person creates an account within 30 days of their first valid click on your link and later becomes a paying Arena+ member, you earn 20% of the qualifying amount of each of their Arena+ subscription payments for their first 12 paid months (counted by billing period, across any resubscription). The qualifying amount is what was actually charged for Arena+ after discounts, excluding tax, refunded amounts, promotional credit and redeemed earnings; payments made entirely with credit earn nothing. Free registrations and free trials do not generate earnings. Each commission is held for 30 days from the payment and then cleared, provided the payment has not been refunded or disputed; a referred member cancelling their subscription does not by itself reverse a commission on a payment we kept. Cleared earnings can be applied toward your own Arena+ subscription. No paid membership is required to earn. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts and misleading promotion are not permitted and void related earnings; shared payment methods are reviewed before earnings clear. Earnings never affect repetitions, ratings, rankings, records or competition results. We may change or end the program with notice; earnings already cleared remain yours. Cash withdrawals are not available yet; when they are, the minimum, any fees, destinations and timing will be published here before they are offered.

Your content

You own the profile details, photos and clips you add. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and share them as needed to run Arena — for example, showing your name, photo and results on leaderboards and fight cards, and showing your proof clip to your opponent. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other users already saved or shared. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to, or anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual or otherwise inappropriate.

Live rooms and other people

Live rooms connect your camera (and microphone, if you allow it) directly to another user. Only join rooms with people you choose to compete with, be respectful, and don't record or share someone else's video without their permission. We may suspend accounts that harass or endanger others.

No tolerance for abuse or objectionable content

There is no place in Arena for harassment, hate, threats, nudity or sexual content, or anything illegal — in your name, photo, bio, clips or live rooms. You can report any athlete or block them from their profile; blocked athletes can't challenge or call you. We review every report within 24 hours and remove content or close accounts that break these rules. Reach us any time at support@arenavs.app.

Our service

Arena, including its software, design, names and logos, belongs to us. We may change, pause or discontinue features, and we don't promise the service will always be available or error-free. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can stop using Arena and delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers

Arena is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of rep counts or ratings, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Electric Nerdz LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any injury arising from exercise you choose to do, and our total liability for any claim relating to Arena is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if greater. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and you and we consent to that jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by email; continuing to use Arena after that means you accept the new terms. Questions: support@arenavs.app.
